| Heterospecific amplexus between Triprion Petasatus (Anura: Hylidae) and Incilius Valliceps (Anura: Bufonidae) from Yucatán, Mexico | |

The heterospecific amplex between Triprion petasatus and Incilius valliceps is documented for the first time in the locality of Piste, Yucatan Mexico. This behavior has been documented previously in other amphibians, many of them also explosive reproducers that take advantage of temporary bodies of water, in places with a marked dry season.
Se documenta por primera vez el amplexo heteroespecífico entre Triprion petasatus e Incilius valliceps en la localidad de Pisté, Yucatán México. Este comportamiento ha sido documentado con anterioridad en otros anfibios, muchos de ellos también reproductores explosivos que aprovechan los cuerpos de agua temporales, en sitios con una marcada estación de secas.

We document the first record of Imantodes gemmistratus for Zacatecas state, Mexico. In August 2016, one adult male was found in a dry forest and oak forest ecotone in the Municipality of Valparaiso. This new record extends known distribution of the species 166 km to the northeast from the nearest previous record in Nayarit state.

En el presente trabajo se documenta la presencia de Holbrookia approximans en el estado de Aguascalientes, México, después de 43 años de su último registro, en Las Negritas, municipio de El Llano, lo que representa un nuevo registro municipal. Adicionalmente una nueva localidad para Zacatecas, en la mesa Los Encinitos, municipio de Pinos, que representa el registro de mayor altitud para la especie.
Herein we document the occurrence of Holbrookia approximans in the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico, after a hiatus of 43 years since the last record, at Las Negritas, in the Municipality of El Llano, representing a new municipality record. Additionally a new locality for Zacatecas at Mesa los Encinitos, Municipality of Pinos, represents the highest altitude record for the species.

| The great plains ratsnake, Pantherophis emoryi Baird & Girard, 1853, (Squamata: Colubridae), a new state record from Aguascalientes, México | |

We report an adult male specimen of the snake Pantherophis emoryi from xerophytic scrub habitat in the Municipality of Real de Asientos, Aguascalientes, México. This specimen represents the first state record of P. emoryi from Aguascalientes and extends the known distribution of the species 107 km in a straight line west-northwest from the nearest previous record. Our specimen was found in habitat that is under heavy agricultural pressure, and recently, threatened by mining. This may indicate that other Chihuahuan Desert taxa may be found in this area.

Se reportan poblaciones nuevas de la lagartija Sceloporus goldmani en los estados de Aguascalientes, Jalisco y Zacatecas, México, que representan nuevos registros estatales. Además, se agrega una nueva localidad para San Luis Potosí y el récord altitudinal de la especie. Esta especie se creía extinta debido a que no se habían encontrado ejemplares recientemente, por lo que las poblaciones previamente documentadas en los estados de Coahuila, Nuevo León y San Luis Potosí probablemente fueron extirpadas debido a la destrucción de su hábitat.
New populations of the lizard Sceloporus goldmani, from Aguascalientes, Jalisco and Zacatecas, México, representing new state records are reported. Additionally, a new locality for San Luis Potosí and the altitudinal record for the species. This species was believed extinct due to the failure to find specimens recently, so the populations previously reported in the states of Coahuila, Nuevo León and San Luis Potosí have probably been extirpated due to habitat destruction.
