Bibliografía sobre sargazo

La concentración de sargazo en las playas caribeñas de México en años recientes se ha convertido en un problema no solo ambiental sino también económico, y desde luego en tema de estudios científicos para solventar o mitigar los efectos.

Con el fin de apoyar en el sustento de proyectos de investigación en ECOSUR en torno a este hecho, se presenta esta bibliografía extraída de los índices de calidad de la producción científica Web of Science y Scopus,

En ambos índices se utilizaron los términos “Pelagic Sargassum”, “Sargassum natans”, “Sargassum fluitans“, y las zonas geográficas Atlantic y Caribbean. El resultado fueron 78 referencias, de las cuales, como se observa, hay una gran cantidad de publicaciones en 2019 por ser tema emergente.

Esta bibliografía será actualizada mensualmente, de acuerdo con las alertas que generen los respectivos sistemas de Web of Science y Scopus.
